why obamacare is hazardous to our health

obamacare is a 2,700 page law that was passed without democrats even reading it.  since republicans didn't have enough votes to block it in either the house or senate...it sailed through despite republican's objections.  romney was correct, obama did spend his first two years working on and passing obamacare while ignoring small businesses going under, and millions of people losing their jobs.  as they lost jobs...they lost houses, cars and self-respect.  all of this, just to pass a bill that democrats have salivated to get for 50+ years...government controlled healthcare.

it starts with obamacare and ends with a single-payer system which is a nice sounding way of saying only the government will be paying doctors and hospitals...not insurance companies.  the government will squeeze insurance companies until they go out of business.  it's already started.  the way insurance companies worked before is that they made a profit or they lost money based on good or bad decisions.  they made money on monthly premiums that people paid in.  if a person didn't get sick they collected the money as a hedge against those who did.  they employ actuary's who do statistics on the odds of a person getting sick or not.  then if they got it right, they made money.  if they got it wrong they lost money.

what do they do with profits.  well, some of that money goes to share holders.  a lot of shareholders are average folks who have a retirement fund at work...like a 401k.  other shareholders are private investors.  if the insurance company makes money...the folks make money.  the folks lose money if the insurance company makes the wrong decisions, but usually they get it right.  under pres. obama, insurance companies have to give their customer's a refund if they don't go to the doctor.  under obama, the insurance can pay its' bills and make a profit determined by the government.

any money left after that has to go back to people that have paid premiums but didn't go to the doctor.  with only making what the government says it can make in profits, the shareholders get hurt.  those people with 401k's make only as much as the government imposed limits on the insurance company's profit allows.  if there is no profit incentive in owning or investing in an insurance company...retirement fund manager's and private investors will get out of insurance and move into something more profitable...maybe not even in this country.

insurance companies aren't the only companies that will be getting squeezed by obamacare.  your employer will be another.  the extra cost incurred by insurance companies of having to cover children until they're 25 or pre-existing conditions will make it tougher for your company to help you pay a portion or all of your insurance as they do now.  there is a good chance they'll drop you and let you go into obamacare.  obamacare will have a panel of 15 appointed members who will decide how much the government is willing to spend on the millions of different medical problems that millions of people may have.

that means they may say...okay, there is 80% chance of occurrence within the population who may get breast cancer, but only a 5% chance for kidney failure.  then they may decide to not put as much or none at all on that kidney problemst.  if you're unlucky enough to have one of those ailments then you'll have to find a way to pay for it yourself, live with the ailment or die if that comes along.  obamacare won't cover it.  doctors won't have to take the fees offered by obamacare.  they may just take patients who can afford to pay for their services.

doctors may not want to take the fee that the government says it will pay for this or that and they won't.  therefore, there will be fewer doctors and if you need to see one under obamacare, you'll have to wait until you can get an appointment because of the doctor shortage. let me briefly explain how medicare 1 and 2 works and then medicaid because it all ties in together.  medicare provides healthcare to seniors for major medical.  things like nursing home care, surgeries etc.  part 2 covers 80% of doctors visits for seniors.  a senior can buy supplement insurance to cover the deductible.

it's often cheaper to not pay a monthly fee for the supplemental unless you go to the doctor often. seniors have had medicare taken out of their checks during their lifetime and it goes into a government pool to help take care of them when they're older.  president obama says he is going to save medicare $716 billion dollars by reducing doctor's fees and fraud...my guess most of it will come from reducing doctor's fees.  again, the doctors don't have to then accept medicare patients and many of them are now choosing not to.  this means fewer doctors are going to be there when you need one who accepts medicare.

the $716 billion dollar savings won't go back to seniors in the form of getting a rebate or discount.  it will go to obamacare to give free services to those who don't have it.  they too will be faced with fewer doctors and a panel of 15 who determines their fate. medicaid is a program that provides care not based on age but on ability to pay.  if you're low income the state pays for it.  under obamacare, the states were offered in increase in federal funding to those states for two years.  most states are deciding to opt out of the extra federal money for two years because it will cost more to cover the extra people after the second year and this would kill state budgets as they already struggle to balance their budgets, which they must do by law.

also with medicaid, if you have medicare, it will cover whatever medicare does not cover.  to sum it up, the democrats are trying to through obamacare, bankrupt the "evil profit centers" of insurance companies and take over the healthcare industry.  you will have no insurance companies competing for your business if they are successful...you will have the same government handling your healthcare that loses your mail, ignores your complaints and has rude and uncaring government employees.  why would you want that when we now have the best healthcare in the world that just needs to be tweaked...not taken over completely by the government.

democrat's "big tent" is really just a circus freak show.

blacks/mexican's and other minorities.
democrat leader's lie to them and don't do anything for them because they know blacks and other minorities will vote for them anyway.  they can do anything to blacks and other minorities because they know blacks and other minorities aren't paying attention, won't research their background or learn who they are or what they stand for and will vote for them anyway...sad.

green party/code pink/communist party.
the green party loves the earth and hates people (except themselves because they don't count because they're the ones trying to help.  they want us back in caves or dead and not using up the earth's resources.  code pink..i don't know what they stand for but i do know that any woman that dresses up like a pink vagina and protests on the street in front of the democratic national convention while bill clinton is in town has some screws loose.  the communist party has been around forever...destroying nations and starving or shooting their citizen's in places like russia and china.  they have a branch here with hundreds of thousands of members and nuts, but are welcome in the democratic "big tent".

the reasons behind the obama administration's rush to regulate and expand government.

perception drives the stock market. perception drives the economy. perception drives real estate, interest rates, the price of food and gas. perception drives capitalism. perception drives our country because our country is based on capitalism and free market. there are free markets or there is a controlled market where there is "excessive" government control and regulations. 

let me give you several examples of what i mean by perception. let's start with a basic one that everyone uses...food and gas. if people think the price of food and gas will go up, they go buy more now while the price is cheap. that extra demand coming from others who think the same thing about food and gas prices going up and then purchasing...makes the prices go up.

this becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. the same thing applies in the stock market. if people think a lot of variables are favorable for business growth and thus many company's shares will increase..people who buy those shares will jump into the market to make money. as more people think the market is going to go up and they buy more...as as they buy, those who sell will charge more for them. thus, the prices go up and people make more when it's their turn to sell.

that is self-fulling prophecy, perspective and free market capitalism at work. when the government steps in to regulate this (usually, they want to get their hands on some of the money, but end up mucking things up in the process) it slows down growth. that perception of growth turns to fear of the government stepping in and interfering with the buying and selling that's going on...and this is why obama has extended our recession.

he has put into place a very costly healthcare system that will cost businesses a lot extra in taxes. how much? no one is sure and that is another thing that stops businesses from growing...uncertainty. they don't want to spend a certain amount on growing and then be hit with taxes that makes them go negative. an individual may go negative from time to time, but if a company does...people get fired.

besides obamacare, businesses face the recession itself. although interest rates are at historic lows, they're thinking why should we borrow money if no customers are walking through the doors. no customers, no profit and no way to pay the loan back regardless of how low the interest rate is. that is the stupidity of obama and government regulators on display.

they are thinking that if they keep interest rates low, it will spur growth...wrong. they think that if they throw money at the problem it will spur growth...wrong. throwing money at it does not increase the confidence of businesses and consumers if they think the government is going to continue to make the wrong decisions.

finally, the perception of the country is down because the obama administration is making decisions to "excessively" regulate energy, banking, credit, real estate, the auto industry, travel and others. by implementing a major overhaul of our entire free market system businesses and consumers who know anything at all about business know that this is not normal.

this would not be normal for a small state to try to accomplish in four years. the obama administration has attempted to do it in four years in a nation the size and complexity of ours...without studying how by changing this, it affect growth and other factors. they didn't consider unintended consequences. businesses and consumers see the amateurishness of this administration and for those who know anything about business it scares them to death and they're perception right now is at an all time low.

businesses and consumers will continue to sit on their money because with this administration...who knows what tomorrow may bring and people are just not going to take any chances in losing even more money with them. as long as business' and consumer's perception is low...we will have a recession and president obama doesn't seem to get that because nowhere in any of his speeches is he saying, "i went too far, let me pull back". no, he's saying, "i didn't do enough...give me four more years, i need to do to do more." is that really what you want... four more years of nothing or even worse?

the type of government that president obama is creating is one that works best with a system of socialism or communism. it destroys the free market through excessive governmental regulations that cripple and eventually halt growth altogether as perceptions continue to plummet and fear of government intervention grows. this is why people who understand anything at all about business see the changes with great clarity that liberals in power are making and is the reason why they are calling this rush to regulate, an intentional move towards extreme socialism or full communism...it has nothing to do with his race.

it has to do with his upbringing and very close ties to communist who are close friends or mentors as he said in his autobiography. if it was his intention to move us away from capitalism and into communism, he should have been honest about this before his election and not lied about it, not win the election and then just do it. if voters then with the full understanding of what he planned on doing, wanted communism then communism it is, but he didn't do that. he won and then without telling us...did it without the consent of u.s citizens. if president obama wins, don't expect a brighter future coming from this administration...expect more of the same or worse.

This is a murderous Islamic soldier, not a “child”
If I read one more description of Gitmo jihadist Omar Khadr as a former “child soldier,” I will throw up. As some of you may have read over the weekend, the 26-year-old Muslim killer who pleaded guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty to five charges related to the battlefield killing of U.S. soldier Christopher Speer was released from Gitmo by the White House on Saturday and sent back to Canada.
Khadr was captured during a 2002 bloody firefight at a suspected al Qaeda compound near Khost, Afghanistan.
Carol Rosenberg of the Miami Herald/McClatchy broke the story this weekend of his repatriation:

Khadr departed the base in Cuba before dawn Saturday, a secret transfer 10 days after a Canadian diplomat paid Khadr a visit on his 26th birthday. He landed at a Royal Canadian airbase in Ontario and was transferred to the Millhaven maximum security prison for what his lawyer described as an assessment of the most suitable place to serve out his sentence.
The case of Khadr — Guantánamo’s last Western captive — stirred debate in international law and human rights circles.
Because he was captured at such a young age, some called him a child soldier who was dropped off in the war zone by his father and deserving of rehabilitation not interrogation. Others called him the respected scion of an al Qaida family, nicknamed Canada’s First Family of Terror in news reports, and opposed his repatriation.
Psychiatrist Michael Welner, testifying at the Guantánamo war court for the prosecution and paid by the Pentagon, called Khadr a continuing danger who spent his time at the U.S. prison camps in Cuba “marinating in a community of hardened and belligerent radical Islamists.”

I have followed Khadr’s case and his sob-story lawyers since 2003 (archive of Khadr posts here and columns here and here.)
Background I reported in 2003 about the Khadr family, led by a senior al Qaeda member who was killed in 2003 in a battle with Pakistani forces:

Canadian Prime Minister Jean Chretien is vacationing in the Dominican Republic this weekend, where he will tee off with former U.S. President Bill Clinton for the newly inaugurated Soft-on-Terror Masters Tournament.
While Chretien golfs, his fellow countryman and favorite accused terrorist Ahmad Said Khadr is still on the loose.
Khadr, an Egyptian-born Canadian citizen, is considered by intelligence officials to be the highest-ranking Canadian within Osama bin Laden’s inner circle. He studied computer science at the University of Ottawa and worked for an Ottawa-based Islamic charity, Human Concern International, which was generously subsidized by Chretien’s government.
Khadr is suspected of siphoning charity funds to bin Laden and other jihadists, and of serving as a chief terrorist recruiter. Known as “al-Kanadi” (Arabic for “The Canadian”), Khadr had previously been in custody in Pakistan for the 1995 bombing of the Egyptian Embassy in Islamabad that killed 17 people.
As I’ve noted before (and it is especially worth repeating in light of attempts by some high-ranking American diplomats to make amends with Canada), our so-called friend and supposed War on Terror partner Chretien was instrumental in securing Khadr’s freedom.
Chretien personally intervened on behalf of Khadr during a 1996 state visit to Pakistan. He aggressively sought guarantees from Benazir Bhutto, then the country’s prime minister, that Khadr would receive due process and fair treatment. The suspected Egyptian Islamic Jihad terrorist was released shortly after Chretien’s diplomatic lobbying campaign.
The United Nations, U.S. and Canada (last, of course) have since frozen the fugitive Khadr’s assets due to his suspected ties to bin Laden. One of his sons, an al-Qaida operative and former terror training camp commander, is on the run with Khadr.
Another of Khadr’s sons, 16-year-old Omar, is in U.S. custody at Guantanamo Bay for his alleged role in an ambush of U.S. soldiers in Afghanistan last summer. Omar is accused of lobbing the hand grenade that killed Sergeant First Class Christopher Speer, a 28-year-old medic with the U.S. Special Forces.
“That wasn’t a panicky teen-ager we encountered that day,” Sergeant First Class Layne Morris of South Jordan, Utah, who lost his right eye in the ambush, told the Boston Globe last month. “That was a trained al-Qaida who wanted to make his last act on earth the killing of an American.”
Speer left behind a wife and two children, ages 3 and 11 months. Just days before his murder, Speer had selflessly walked into a minefield to rescue two wounded Afghan children.

Two words: WHY NOW? And what’s really behind Khadr’s release? Will the dhimmi lapdog media dare to ask?
Reuters suggests that the repatriation was promoted by “U.S. anger” over leaked video of Khadr’s interrogation. The Obama administration is accusing the conservative Canadian government of the breach. But the Toronto Star has reported just the opposite:

Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s office denied any knowledge of the source of the leak.
“We have no comment on the accuracy or inaccuracy of the Maclean’s article and do not know what sources the magazine relied on,” said Harper spokesman Andrew MacDougall.
“Access to the interview video is strictly controlled within the government of Canada,” he added.
The PMO would not say whether the government would undertake an investigation into the leak. The office of Public Safety Minister Vic Toews did not respond to the Star’s queries.
But Welner, the psychiatrist who conducted the interview, suggested the fault lies with Khadr’s legal defence team, if not with the administration of U.S. President Barack Obama.
In an emailed statement to the Star, Welner said he has not disclosed the transcript.
He claims the Maclean’s story is a “distortion” of the transcript.
“I am sure that were anyone interested in an accurate understanding of the interview, the interview itself would be released to the public to form its own impression,” he wrote.
Khadr’s Pentagon-appointed lawyer Army Lt.-Col. Jon Jackson said “No member of the defence team released the tape or transcript.”
“None of us have or ever would release classified information.”
According to Maclean’s, and the excerpts it published, Khadr may be a victim of torture as he has sworn to, but also appears as the “unrepentant and unconvincing” man that Welner characterized at trial.

Please note, dear readers, that the Center for Constitutional Rights (to which White House visitor and Muslim Brotherhood community organizer Hisham Altalib donated a huge chunk of change) has been at the forefront of pressing for Khadr’s release.
I also remind you, dear readers, that CCR also crusaded for the release of Gitmo jihadist Abu Sufian bin Qumu — now the lead suspect in the bloody attack on our consulate in Benghazi.
And I remind you that this appeasement-addicted administration is reportedly weighing the release of the Blind Sheik, while clinging to the blame-the-video shield against accountability for the mess in Libya.

What is the cost of subsidizing Islamic countries that hate us?

The average median income for a family of four in the United States is $51,000.00. Such a family will pay $2,900.00 in federal income taxes, that much personal property confiscated by the iron fist of government power and spent as its officials choose. Based on this example, let’s look and see how many American families’ taxes it takes for the Obama Administration to give annual aid to Islamic countries that hate us.
Egypt

Annual aid: $1.56 billion

The new president of Egypt is the leader of a terrorist organization. His regime has stood by while Christians in Egypt have been murdered and churches burned. He did nothing when our embassy in Cairo was attacked. He has not even issued an apology for the attack.

Egypt votes against the United States in the United Nations 79% of the time.

It takes 573,000 U.S. families to pay for the “aid” to this country.

Pakistan

Annual aid: $6.7 billion

This country hid Bin Laden, imprisoned the doctor for 30 years who helped the U.S. find Bin Laden, and continues to harbor Al Qaeda terrorists within its borders.

Pakistan votes against the United States in the United Nations 75% of the time.

It takes 2,300,000 U.S. families to pay for the “aid” to this country.

Palestinian Authority (West Bank and Gaza Strip)

Annual aid: $600 million

The Palestinians danced in the streets when the World Trade Center collapsed on 9/11. Just lately, for the last three days they have been rioting in the streets, yelling: “Death to all Americans.”

Afghanistan

Annual aid: $1.9 billion

On top of our training of the Afghan military, we give Afghanistan $1.9 billion in aid annually and Obama entered into an agreement with Afghanistan promising billions more.

In the last few days, Afghan protestors rioted in the streets in reaction to the U.S. Embassy attacks, yelling, “Death to Americans”, attacked two U.S. bases killing several people and burned an effigy of President Obama. Our troops are being murdered by the Afghan military which we are training, while we train them.

It takes 655,000 U.S. families to pay for the “aid” to this country.

Nigeria

Annual aid: $600 million

In Nigeria, Christians are routinely murdered and churches burned.

It takes 206,000 U.S. families to pay for the “aid” to this country.

Sudan

Annual aid: $500 million

Just a few days ago, rioters in Khartoum attacked and broke into the German embassy, surrounded the British embassy and marched on the U.S. embassy.

Sudan votes against the United States in the United Nations 75% of the time.

It takes 172,000 U.S. families to pay for the “aid” to this country.

Somalia

Annual aid: $35 million

Yes, we actually give foreign aid to the country that gives safe harbor to pirates that murder innocent people on the high seas.

It takes 12,000 U.S. families to pay for the “aid” to this country.

In addition to these countries, the United States sent billions of tax payer money to the following Islamic counties, all of which vote overwhelmingly against the United States in the United Nations:

And what was the reaction from the heads of state of each of these countries to the murder of our Ambassador in Libya and the attacks on our embassies worldwide?
With the exception of the president of Libya, not one word.
To add to all this, Hillary Clinton requested and received an additional $750 million in aid for Muslim countries to help them through a transition period from the Arab Spring.
It takes 258,000 U.S. families to pay for the “aid” to this cause.
In 2009, President Obama in his speech in Cairo spoke of “a new beginning,” and “America is not — and never will be — at war with Islam.” No, Mr. President, it would appear that Islam is at war with America and the U.S. tax payers are paying for the war.
For the reader that can only remember these words, “the Muslim Brotherhood is good. We want them in Egypt….” may I point out this video by Mohammad Mursi, the new President of Egypt and the Muslim Brotherhood. In the name of Allah and Martyrdom, he promised their followers that Jerusalem would be capital of a new Islamic Caliphate.

To pander to these fanatics, the Democratic Party Platform did not originally refer to Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. Then, of course, there was the so called 2/3 vote at the Democratic National Convention to restore the language that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel, that did not actually pass, but an embarrassed Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigossa said it had.

Who are the real fanatics that are trying to destroy America, the Muslim’s or the Democrats?

We could add the cost of all of our Citizens’ involuntary, government-confiscated contributions to America-hating Jihadists last year, or this year, or those planned for 2013 and onward. In the future, historians of this land will write of the foolish Americans of the early Twenty-First Century, who thought the terrorism they experienced was the result of poverty native to the terrorists. They will also note the appeasers, who as voluntary victims of racketeers, thought they were investing in these nations as a subscription to their safety.
We hope these historians will be dismayed survivors in an America which had learned otherwise in time, instead of gleeful jihadis in the northwest corner of their Caliphate – or the Illuminist elite of Agenda 21, who would have used them as chess pieces, prior to victimizing them in turn, by whatever engineered genocide.

As I have contended from the very beginning, Obama and his minions are corrupt beyond belief. In 2001, an Islamic manifesto called The Project was discovered in Switzerland. This document is a plan to carry out a quiet coup within the United States through indoctrination, subversion and infiltration at all levels of our government and through key positions in education and other influential positions such as the media. Fast forward to 2008 and the Holyland Foundation Trial. This showcased the largest terror financing trial in US history. There are 80 boxes of evidence, including The Project, that have been made available by our government to the accused enemies of America, but which, to this day, are being withheld from our leaders and the American people. Barack Obama, Eric Holder and Janet Napolitano cite national security, but have given the terrorists a free pass to review the documents. I contend, that if they haven’t already done so, that Obama and his colleagues will destroy those documents because they implicate Obama and his administration in outright treason by aiding and abetting the Muslim Brotherhood. If Obama loses this election, he will most likely do two things: 1) He will release the Blind Sheik and 2) he will have those 80 boxes of documents destroyed if he hasn’t done so already. Obama will remain faithful to his Muslim roots and his anti-colonialist leanings. Remember Obama’s words:

Radical Islamists have waged a silent propaganda and indoctrination war here in the US for many years and they have been winning over the hearts, minds and souls of many. They now are trying to basically do away with our First Amendment rights by criminalizing any form of speech that is deemed offensive to Islam. They have put themselves in place in our government and managed to purge all government documentation and libraries of any reference that criticizes Islam or that they find objectionable – i.e. blasphemy. They have even gotten into school textbooks glorifying Islam and rewriting our history in their favor. Hillary Clinton and the rest of the Islamic gang, are working towards United Nations Resolution 16/18 which prohibits “discrimination based on religion or belief.” That is an anti-blasphemy resolution and if passed by our senate, the end of the First Amendment.

Obama has thrown the doors of our hallowed halls open to the Muslim Brotherhood. He meets with them every chance he gets, while snubbing Netanyahu and Israel – buying time for Iran to wipe them from the face of the earth with a nuke or 12. Our elected officials demanded a halt to the 1 billion slated for Egypt and funding for Libya after our embassies and consulates were attacked and an ambassador and others were murdered. Even after this horrendous event, where Obama, Rice and Clinton all lied about the cause of the terrorism, Obama turned around and is attempting to give $450 million to the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt and another $50+ million to Syrian rebels. So far, a few brave individuals in the House and Senate have stopped this, but I expect Obama to circumvent their efforts and send the money to our enemies anyway. It’s for his homies, don’t ya know.
The infiltration into America is on a par with Communism’s and in fact, they have linked forces to overthrow us from within. The Progressives and the Jihadists are working together to transform America. Each believes that in the end they will win and then get rid of the other. But that is after they have destroyed our Constitutional Republic. This is a war we could lose without ever being attacked – ravaged by the enemies within.

Nevertheless, one must not give them allegiance or take them into confidence, bearing in mind that the Islamic movement must be the origin of the initiatives and orientations taken.
Point of Departure 8: To master the art of the possible on a temporary basis without abusing the basic principles, bearing in mind that Allah’s teachings always apply. One must order the suitable and forbid that which is not, always providing a documented opinion. But we should not look for confrontation with our adversaries, at the local or the global scale, which would be disproportionate and could lead to attacks against the dawa or its disciples.
Point of Departure 9: To construct a permanent force of the Islamic dawa and support movements engaged in jihad across the Muslim world, to varying degrees and insofar as possible.
Point of Departure 10: To use diverse and varied surveillance systems, in several places, to gather information and adopt a single effective warning system serving the worldwide Islamic movement. In fact, surveillance, policy decisions and effective communications complement each other.
Point of Departure 11: To adopt the Palestinian cause as part of a worldwide Islamic plan, with the policy plan and by means of jihad, since it acts as the keystone of the renaissance of the Arab world today.
Point of Departure 12: To know how to turn to self-criticism and permanent evaluation of worldwide Islamic policy and its objectives, of its content and its procedures, in order to improve it. This is a duty and a necessity according to the precepts of shari’a.

the debt per taxpayer is $140,384. the debt per citizen is $51,077. that means that if every citizen paid taxes our national debt would be covered with everyone chipping in $51,077. not all citizen's pay taxes. not those who don't work, not  illegal alien's who benefit but are not citizen's or taxpayers, not children or those exempted due to age or illness.

since not everyone pays taxes...those who do, are responsible for more. the total debt for the united states is $15,990, 80,XXX,XXX. i used X's because those numbers are moving to fast to keep up with. our debt is growing by the millisecond and what the taxpayer's who are paying $140,384 this second will be responsible for even more by the end of the day.

as it grows each day and taxpayers become responsible for more each day, you can see that it's going to be impossible for them to keep up. the debt will become larger day by day and the taxpayers today will grow old and die. the debt won't stop...it will be passed on to that taxpayer's children.

the non-taxpayers of today...will have children who will be the taxpayers of tomorrow and they will have to pay too. as the debt gets bigger those taxpayers of the future, will have to pay more and more in taxes just to try to keep up. they will work and when they get their weekly pay...they will get less and less as the u.s. debt increases.

there will come a day when those future taxpayers who are the children and great grandchildren of today's taxpayers and non-taxpayers alike, will have more coming out of their checks for taxes than they do to spend on themselves...at that point they will be slaves to our debt. slaves to the leaders that "you" chose today who wasted yours or at least their money. since i've been typing this the national debt has gone up to $15,095,XXX,XXX or $15 million dollars. i can't wait to see what tomorrow brings.

there's more to a career in real estate than meets the eye.

when most people think of real estate they think of someone showing them houses and writing up a contract for them to buy it...but there are many facets to real estate besides that.  there are actually four year real estate degrees, real estate economist and real estate analyst.  someone in the real estate industry may work at your neighborhood real estate office, a bank, title, inspection or survey company.  they may work as an underwriter at a bank or lending institution, be a professor at a real estate university or a teacher at a real estate school.  there are many levels of licensing, education and experience requirements involved with each.  to make it simple i'll rate them in terms of difficulty to obtain some of the credentials (entry level) from 1 to 10.

to become a first level real estate house appraiser about 3.
to become a real estate broker (open your own business and hire agents) about 5.
house inspector about 3.
surveyor about 3.
second level house appraiser (open your own appraisal shop) about 5.

these numbers are just good estimates of what it will take to start in terms of time, classes and expense based on my knowledge and experience from having been in the business at a level 9 since 1991.  i've taught at a real estate school, became a broker while in college and became an analyst and commercial real estate appraiser in 1991.

the real estate industry as with others has been going through turmoil for the last four years.  we have lost many good people as casualties related to this turmoil and there will be an extreme shortage when things recover and our leaders help straighten things out.

it's been a great and rewarding career for me.  now may be the time for some of you to get in and learn the business as a career (not just a job..or way to get rich quick)..but as a career so that when things do recover in the next year or two, you'll find yourself at the right place at just the right time.

of people were injured today in a clash in Bangladesh’s capital between

The protesters burned several vehicles in Dhaka, including a police van, witnesses said.

Dozens of protesters were arrested at the demonstration and inside the nearby National Press Club, where participants took refuge, a Dhaka Metropolitan Police official said.

Police and witnesses said scores of people were injured.

The clash erupted when authorities attempted to halt the demonstration, police said.

Authorities
have banned all protests near the city’s main Baitul Mokarram mosque
since yesterday, when more than 2,000 people marched and burned an
effigy of President Barack Obama.

The protesters announced a nationwide general strike tomorrow to protest the police action.

In
Pakistan, protests continued today, with more than 1,500 people,
including women and children, rallying in Pakistan’s capital. The crowd
was peaceful but angry over the release of the video called Innocence of
Muslims, which portrays the Prophet Mohammed as a fraud, a womaniser
and a child molester.

The protesters – from the Minhaj-ul-Quran
religious group – marched through Islamabad’s streets and then gathered
near Parliament, chanting slogans against the filmmaker and demanding
stern punishment for him.

Thousands of people also protested
today in Nigeria’s largest city, Kano. The crowd marched from a mosque
to the palace of the Emir of Kano, the region’s top spiritual leader for
Muslims.

About 200 students
in Srinagar, the main city in Indian-controlled Kashmir, chanted “Down
with America” and “Long live Islam” in a peaceful protest.

Some carried a placard that read: “There is no God but Allah and Mohammed is his messenger.”

President Obama went on David Letterman’s show last night, and when the conversation turned to the national debt, Dave was once again happy to help by resetting the national debt back to the level it was when Obama took office:

“Here’s what I found troubling [at the GOP convention]. They had the clock, the debt countdown clock and, I mean, this thing is going like crazy and it’s several trillion dollars. Now, what is that?” Letterman asked, after admitting he is ignorant of many political matters.
After blaming Bush for starting two wars “on a credit card” and saying that we had to spend money to prop up fledgling industries during the recession, Letterman asked of the debt: “Now, do you remember what that number was? Was it $10 trillion?”
The Washington Post notes that the debt is growing so fast there is no such thing as a precise recollection, but Obama certainly could have said, “closer to $16 trillion.”
Instead, the president seemingly let the group continue to think our national debt is roughly $6 trillion less than it is, saying simply: “I don’t remember what the number was, precisely.”

“I don’t remember precisely” is understandable. It’s not as if Obama was going to throw that gift back in Letterman’s face by saying “you’re way off, Dave. It’s $6 trillion higher than that — over $16 trillion total!” Instead the president claimed to be unsure about the exact amount. But I’ll bet anything he knows precisely how much his campaign took in at Jay-Z and Beyonce’s fundraiser last night:


All politicians should be required to wear clocks around their necks, except instead of the time these clocks would display the national debt.

what good does it do to get a larger amount of college tuition when colleges and university's have raised the cost of going to college? a student wouldn't get any more for his buck except being deeper in debt. what good has it done for our government to have spent 15 trillion dollars since 1964 and poverty not having improved? each year the government spends more. in the case of poverty, the g

overnment has at least eight agency's to dispense aid to the poor...many of those agencies doing the same thing.

each agency has a staff, offices, supplies, vehicles and other expenses that have to be paid and the money goes to paying for those government workers and preparing to give out aid. this results in spending more preparing to give out aid than actually giving out aid to the poor. doesn't this provide jobs for those government workers that wouldn't otherwise have a job? what it does is take away more tax dollars from the private sector. the private sector makes things or provides a service that people want and pay for. the owner of that private sector business for example may spend $10 dollars to make a gadget to sell. they sell it to the person that wants it for $15 and makes a profit of $5. they are happy for having made $5 for each gadget they sell and the person that wanted and bought the gadget is happy.

the maker of the gadget does the same thing again and again. his gadgets are so popular that he needs help. he hires people. now, let's compare that to the government. the government takes money from gadget makers and service providers all over the country to hire government workers. those workers provide a service as well. they don't make and sell gadgets or provide services at a profit...they provide a service that makes no money. that service is then given away with the exception of some fee's that the government charges which with along with the money they take from gadget makers and service providers in the private sector, goes towards paying the bills for all the things the government needs to provide that service and then give it away.

there isn't enough money coming in from fees and there aren't enough gadget makers and service providers to take the money from to keep up with government spending. some say take more from the gadget makers and service providers. that will help, they say. they say this instead of saying let's make the government stop giving away more than we have to give. the gadget makers and service providers can't give more and then make more gadgets or provide more services if it's being taken away by the government to pay for government workers and the stuff they need to help give services away. the government doesn't produce anything. they don't make gadgets or provide services that make a profit where that profit can make more gadgets and provide more services that will require more jobs.

no, they take more and give more away. they spend more and hire more to help give more away. this can't go on and is why our nation is now borrowing money from the federal reserve and other country's because they have run out of people to take money from. now they are looking at the wealthy. in a nation of 315 million people, the percentage of wealthy is relatively small...if it was easy to become wealthy, everyone would be wealthy. it's much easier to remain middle-class or poor than it is to become wealthy, so there just aren't that many of them. yet, they have what the government needs and wants...money. so the government sets about to take more so they can give more away...but before they do, they need to hire more people who will need more stuff so they can more easily give more money away. once they've taken from the wealthy, the government then looks to the middle class to finance their jobs.

doesn't this sound like a racket? doesn't this sound like the people who we've elected, then hire more people? doesn't it sound like they write more laws that will help them give themselves more money so they can do a better job of giving more money away? it doesn't just sound that way, it is that way. as the government takes more from the gadget makers and service providers who make a profit and then hire people, it makes the gadget makers and service providers poorer and they can no longer hire as many if any at all. they can't meet the demand for those gadgets and services either.

when the government takes money from the wealthy to be able to give more to the poor and middle-class, the wealthy become poorer and can't even think about opening a business that makes gadgets or provides a service that will eventually hire people. eventually there are fewer and fewer jobs. fewer and fewer gadgets and services. the government has to look to then borrow more from the federal reserve and other countries to start giving that borrowed money away. eventually the wealthy start hiding their money or moving away to another friendlier country to keep what they made from selling gadgets or providing a service.

then when the government can no longer borrow money to maintain their own jobs and then give whatever is left over away...what will they do? they must create a war to put people back to work...but that too costs money that they will have to borrow. they must sell themselves to a smarter country as mercenaries, so that they can then reduce the numbers of people who get free stuff from them when they go off to war to die...but

the government workers who put them in this situation in the first place still have jobs. they don't go off to the war they create to have more money to give away. all of this just to keep a job when they instead could have gone to work making gadgets or providing a service instead? why would they...when they can just learn to lie about their intentions? it's much easier for them to do it that way. they've put you in bondage just to work for them while you're being kept on a chain. free your mind, vote for peace and prosperity; then let's get back to the constitution what our founders wrote to protect us...which our current leader's have chose to ignore.

i've been watching the protest in the middle-east. pres. obama and his other two stooges have claimed that arabs are just upset with us because we "offended them". no. they hate us. they hate us because we are not muslim. this is the ultimate prejudice. liberals defend blacks, hispanics, gays, the poor and women against prejudice here. a type of prejudice that has not existed since the 1960s.

The Obama administration is saying that the deadly attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya last week was spontaneous. Four people were killed in the attack, including U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens.
In an interview on Fox News Sunday, Susan Rice, U.S. ambassador to the U.N., claimed that the violence stems solely from reaction to an anti-Muslim video, saying, “The best assessment we have today is that, in fact, this was not a pre-planned, pre-meditated attack, that what happened initially is that it was a spontaneous reaction to what had just transpired in Cairo as a consequence of the video.”
Libya’s president, however, disagrees claiming that the violence was indeed planned, and was likely the work of militants linked to al Qaeda.
KT McFarland and Stephen Hayes joined America’s Newsroom to comment on the situation.
McFarland asserts that the Obama administration knows that this was not a spontaneous attack, but ahead of the election is trying to place the blame elsewhere, “so that nobody can blame them for a failed Middle East policy.”
Hayes said that throughout the president’s time in office, his administration has repeatedly tried to downplay any previous attacks and to suggest that there was nothing that they could have done to prevent them.

The Chicago teachers union will continue its week-old strike in the nation’s third-largest city, keeping thousands of students out of class.
The union’s House of Delegates declined to vote on whether to end the strike Sunday after hearing details of a tentative contract agreement. Teachers will keep picketing Monday, one week after teachers walked out.
Mayor Rahm Emanuel and union representatives were pushing for a quick resolution as parents found alternatives for about 350,000 students. A proposed settlement was reached this weekend on sticking points that included teacher evaluations and job security.
The settlement needs to be approved by the union’s full 25,000 members within two weeks of the delegates suspending a strike.
The delegates’ mood was serious, and many declined to speak with reporters. A union representative told reporters waiting outside of the closed-door meeting that it will be “a long process.”
Many teachers headed into the vote still unhappy with the wording of some contract provisions contained in a rough outline released late Saturday by the Chicago Teachers Union, said second grade teacher Julie McDevitt. The contract outline calls for annual raises, but it doesn’t restore a 4 percent raise that was rescinded last year. Teachers had also expressed concern about easing overcrowding, scarce office supplies and an evaluation procedure they said was too heavily based on student test scores.

Colorado School Takes Rosary Beads Away From Student:
The rosary represents a Catholic symbol for a series of prayers, but at one Colorado school, the beads are a problem. 16-year-old student Manuel Vigil says he wears the beads because they make him feel safe. The school feels differently, saying that the rosary beads can be mistaken for a gang symbol.
Thompson school district spokesperson, Margaret Crespo, said, “We’ve given you two opportunities to take it off or to put it inside your shirt, and that’s not something that you’re interested in doing, then you don’t leave us an alternative but to remove it.”

keep your eyes on the stock market going up, while our economy suffers and walks the green mile.

i was listening to talk radio on the way to the store this morning. they had some stock broker's on and they were giddy with excitement. they're expecting a big rally in the market tomorrow. so am i. all traders are giddy now. 

the cow's about to be slaughtered and no matter that there will be no more milk for us all to drink now that the federal reserve has committed $80 billion dollars a 

month to mortgage backed security bonds. the fed's said they did it to spur the economy....to get people to start borrowing money to buy houses again.

if the housing market cranks up, then construction and all things tied to the purchase of a house goes up too. furniture, accessories, more beer for the construction workers...everything. $80 billion per month is a lot of money for lenders to loan. the only problem is they won't.

not that they won't have it to spare...it's just that a lot of people have bad credit or a foreclosure or bankruptcy on their records. they won't qualify to get their hands on any of that money....even if they do qualify. many won't want to borrow because of the economy. they don't feel too sure about things yet.

they don't feel sure about the job market. they may get laid off. if they're self-employed...they don't feel confident in that business will come in enough for them to afford a new house. so they wait. what will lenders do with all of this money on hand? they can't loan it out...so they'll park it on the stock market.

this artificially drives up the stock market. artificially because when the market does come back...lenders will pull their money out and thus pull the rug out from under the stock market. the whole thing will crash back down to below 10 thousand since it is still primed with previous quantitative easement money from the last time the federal reserve did the same thing.

it didn't work then for anyone but stock broker's and with artificially inflating stock portfolio's in investment portfolio's for awhile....hardly worth destroying the country over for anyone...even giddy stock brokers.

the giddy stock brokers will make a lot of money in the short run...but then have to pay it back with all of the rest of us because the federal reserve loaned us that money...they didn't just give it to us. yep, those people making money now off of qe3 will pay some of it back in taxes.

because of the size of these "gifts" to the lenders...taxes can't be paid back in just one lifetime. no, it will take several if not more lifetimes. the lifetimes of your kids and grandkids to pay back if ever. that's a lot of money...those stock broker's must not have any children or grandchildren. although i can't blame them for taking advantage of this manna from heaven today.

no, their great great grandchildren are going to be mad as hell at them for leaving them in so much debt 20 to 50 years from now. i hope they make enough to get really, really rich right now and then put a huge chunk of it away...because their future generations will be really, really poor and mad at them if they don't leave them anything but a lifetime of debt behind.
