Who am I?

i'm not african-american. my forefathers may originate from africa, however i think this status should be for new arrivals from africa that have become citizens. if you need to call me anything other than darryl or if i've pissed you off and you want to call me a four letter word...fine, but if you must label me anything other than american...i'm a black american.

  1. I guess in that case, I am a german, irish, dutch and mutt-American. I don't even consider myself a WHITE American. Why is it that we can't just be AMERICANS? One nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. Jesus said, a nation divided will fall. Well, don't these distinctions DIVIDE us??

Just saying. Welcome to the blog...not that I blog.

  2. The African-American term as it relates to me has always been a pet peeve with me Darryl. I share your sentiments.

  3. Yeah, I think the time has come that all of us should be just Americans. The enemy has crept into our camp and many, liberals are a perfect example, have no clue of the danger we're now being confronted with.
